Nuvò Cosmetic takes care of your skin with cosmetics based on snail slime.
To do this, we have respect for nature at heart: using methods that are non-invasive for the animal, we are able to extract the properties of the secretion without altering its quality, through a completely manual method that we have perfected over the years.
From our snail farms, we obtain the pure slime by properly stimulating the animal's foot, the muscular part that allows it to move, and the process is done by hand, without the use of any saline solution or electric shock.
Once the extraction has been carried out, the snail resumes its natural cycle normally, and no harm is done.
What is obtained from this non-invasive method is a concentrate of mucopolysaccharides, glycolic acid, elastin, collagen, allantoin, proteins and vitamins, elements that give protection, hydration and anti-ageing effects to human skin.
The Story of Nuvò Cosmetic
Ours is a young project that took its first steps in the years between 2013 and 2014, born from the desire to give rise to a cosmetic line completely based on snails Made in Italy.
Quality, with attention to detail, is, together with respect for the animal, the main aim of our cosmetic lines, in which we concentrate all the active ingredients selected to achieve tangible results.
Our company differs from other cosmetic production companies in that we have our own snail farm (located outdoors in the province of Verona, in the hills of Lake Garda, near Peschiera).
In this way, we are able to extract the necessary raw material and monitor the health of our animals.
Nuvò collaborates with ONE TREE PLANTED
Nuvò collaborates with ONE TREE PLANTED, a non-profit organisation with a focus on global reforestation.
An international organisation engaged in reforestation projects in areas affected by natural disasters or deforestation; this not only benefits nature and the climate, but has a direct impact on the people living in the areas affected by these problems.
Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink and provide habitat for more than 80 per cent of the world's terrestrial biodiversity.
It seemed important to us at Nuvò to collaborate by becoming part of this fantastic project!
